Job Description

Wood is recruiting for a Subsea Campaign Project Manager (PM) as part of the Maintenance and Construction Department, who will be responsible for developing the scope of work and deliverables of the client’s subsea campaign and support its safe execution, based in Equatorial Guinea on a 28×28 rotation.
This position will report to the Maintenance and Construction Manager and will oversee all aspects of the subsea campaign major activities from scope definition (this might include working with third parties for engineering assessments and define subsea NDE scopes), planning, material acquisition, bidders vetting and contract award and safe execution of the subsea campaign.

Responsibilities

A numbered list of specific actions for which the jobholder is responsible:1.   Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of project.  2.   Work with relevant parties to develop scope of work for the subsea campaigns. This includes, reviewing previous subsea campaigns inspection reports and the lessons learned from last subsea campaign.        3.   Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.4.   Support the Company in selecting Subsea Contractor for work execution and set expectations. 5.   Visit Subsea Contractor facilities (Diving Support Vessel, Remote Operated Vehicle, divers certifications) and evaluate their capabilities for meeting project deliverables safely, under budget and on time.6.   Review, check and approve all contracted diving personnel and ROV certifications. 7.   Liaise with the Company’s representative to review all procedures (Remote Operated Vehicle and Diving Inspection) provided by the subsea contractor.  8.   Review the DSP suitability for the scope in hand.9.   Review divers qualifications and suitability to perform the diving work;10.   Review the ROV capability based on the requirements of the scheduled inspections.11.   Attend project conferences and meeting either remotely or onsite as required to maintain visibility.12.   Review documentations (drawings, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, previous subsea campaign reports and history) related to the facilities to be inspected (platforms, subsea pipelines, Berth I & II subsea structures, etc.)13.   Material purchase and procurement review with the Company’s representative.14.   Ensure that adequate level of materials and spares are on board on vessel to maintain efficient and uninterrupted work during execution of the project.15.   Be on-board of the vessel with the Company’s representative during the execution phase of the project.16.   Direct supervision, monitoring and auditing of contractor activities during executing underwater diving inspection and Remote Operated Vehicle inspections.   17.   Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques18.   Fulfil any other Company’s specific requirements including, but not limited to; participation in project meetings, conferences, job site visits, etc. 19.   Review, evaluate and analyse with Company’s management team the subsea inspection findings (Remote Operated Vehicle & diving) and propose / recommend corrective actions. 20.   Prepare the final report of the project at the end of the project. 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management Extensive experience managing and leading subsea inspection and construction related projects Project Management certification from accredited body Knowledge of API 2SIM or any other offshore structural integrity management code/standard Diving experience is preferred Leadership and good communication skills required Planning skills required Project cost control skills required Projects software skills required:•   MS Office Suite•   P6, OpenText, SAP, MS Project and related software
