Software Intern Embedded Systems

Position Summary:

Honeywell is seeking for an inter software engineer to join a team that develops Voice Productivity Tools. You will participate across the entire application life cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Supporting applications for the company’s product embedded software platform.
• Working directly with developers, testers, and product managers to conceptualize, build, test, and realize products.
• Build prototypes at the tech scoping stage of projects.
• Participate in meetings about technologies and solutions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You Should Have:

Bachelors in Mechatronics Electronic Engineering, Computer Science active student or no more than 06 month of graduated

Skills:

• Some knowledge or experience developing applications and programs in one or more of the following disciplines:
• C++: OOP, memory management, compilation process.
• Linux: Development in Linux environments.
• Bash: scripting and task automation.
• Version control: knowledge of version control systems like GIT.
• Scripting: experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.

We Value:

• Development of projects with backend in C++ and scripting in Python or PowerShell.
• Embedded Linux systems such as Raspberry, Orange PI, Banana Pi, etc.
• Knowledge and experience in the SCRUM framework.
• Understanding of scripting languages and their application in automation.
• Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization.
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.
