What will you do?
• Contribute to or develop architectural designs and independently develop complex system designs that meet the requirements.
• Consider tradeoffs between requirements, speed,costand reliability in the choice of a design approach.
• Collaborate closely with the business and relevant engineering disciplines to address medium to long-term constraints.
• Lead orparticipatein reviews of architecture, documents, designs, code, test cases and user documentation.
• Determinethe origin and root cause of complicated anomalies that may affect multiple subsystems or require architectural enhancements.
• Apply secure code design and development best practices to the product.
• Take the lead onidentifyingand recommending capability improvements in software development practices and development tools.
• Thinks outside the boxand is willing to research and explore new avenues to overcome obstacles byutilizingthe latest technologies and standards. May act as the go-to person for technology, softwaremethodologyor other areas of expertise.
• Able to learn and understand complex control system concepts.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
• Bachelor or Master’sdegree in Electrical/Computer/Computer Science Engineering
• 10-12years ofexperience in Embedded Software development
• Provenexperience in C/C++ withstrong skills indatastructures, multi-cores
• Experience in developing applications onRTOSsuch asVxWorks
• Hands-on experience withcommunication protocols(Ethernet IP,OPC/UA etc.)
• Experienced in solving complex system problems with systematic troubleshootingskills.
• Experience with PLC programming languageslikeLadderLogic,Structured Text is anadded advantage.
• Possessgood communicationand interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams in amulti-cultural environment.
• Direct experience collaborating with localand global technical developmentteams.
• A minimum of five years of experience as technical leadin an Industrial Automation Product such as PLCwillhave potential to be consideredas a “Principal Engineer”.
