THIS POSITION REPORTS TO

Sales Support Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. You will support in preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology, determining the cost, preparing final documentation and serving as the key resource in the control systems domain. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Division of ABB. The primary focus markets for the Energy Industry are FPSO, Wind Offshore, and Petrochemical Industries. You will be mainly accountable for: • Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers about the Power/Energy management control systems • Working with bids and proposals and engineering colleagues across functional areas to understand ABB offerings and follow the defined sales and bid process. • Understanding and preparing digital and cybersecurity-related offerings suited for energy management solutions. • Attend customer sites with sales colleagues and conduct technical presentations and clarifications on automation solutions. • Preparing the cost sheet based on the ABB,3rd party buy-out items, and man hours and participating in the order negotiation and finalization.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• You are highly skilled in preparing bids and estimations or equivalent solution-providing functions
• Ability to demonstrate your experience or knowledge of Marine systems or FPSO, and/or offshore wind power including class rules like ABS and DNV
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of IT & networks, controllers and IO, cyber security, and digital solutions
• Passionate about working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and enjoys working with a team
• Degree in Engineering with around 5 years of hands-on experience in bidding, proposal tendering or working as a Control Systems Engineer and willing to move to sales support role such as this.
• You are experienced in developing strong customer and internal relationships.
• You are at ease communicating in English.
