About Quartz Design System
Quartzis an ecosystem that translates Schneider Electric digital standards into ready-to-use assets shared by designers and developers with transparency, efficiency and consistency.
Your role :
As aProduct Designeron ourDesign Systemteam, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining design assets that impact hundreds of products. Working closely with engineering, design, and product teams, your efforts will ensure a cohesive and exceptional user experience across our digital ecosystem.
Your missions :
Systemic UI Kit Development
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive UI kits for use across various digital products, ensuring design consistency.
• Ensuring design uniformity across all products and services.
• Adopting a systemic approach to building and enhancing the design system.
User Centricity
• Working with product and design teams to implement the design system effectively.
• Promoting the benefits of the design system to stakeholders and representing the user’s voice within the company.
• Conducting user research and translating findings into design system components.
Community Management
• Managing and engaging the design system community, evangelizing your mission, and fostering trust with product teams and stakeholders.
• Supporting and onboarding teams in using the design system.
Implementation Support
• Producing detailed design specifications to guide component development, including accessibility, interaction, and visual guidelines.
• Assisting multi-disciplinary teams during the design system implementation to ensure quality and consistency.
Your profile :
• Proficient with Figma and stay updated with its latest features.
• Understand design constraints across multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, tablet, HMI).
• Have a strong passion for simplicity and pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Possess a keen graphic sensibility and knowledge of brand design.
• Excel in communication and thrive in collaborative environments.
• Think systemically and understand technical issues and dependencies.
• Organized, curious, and creative, with experience in Lean and Agile methodologies.
• Enthusiastic, humble, and caring, and fluent in English.
Even Better:
• Experience in data visualization.
• Prior experience in building design systems.
• Possess motion design and animation skills.
• Have experience in community management.
