Job Description
Wood is currently recruiting for Principal Designer Control & Instrumentation who has a Have a sound knowledge of International Codes & Standards and General C&I Design. Should have strong Revamp / modification project execution experience both with respect to control system and field instrumentation and packages. With minimum supervision, be able to carry out General C&I Design activities to a high standard from first principles using client standards and in line with Project requirements conforming to safety and quality control within the man-hour budget and the project schedule targets.
Responsibilities
Responsible review / checking and approval of the following C&I Design Activities.
3D modeling of Cable trays, Junction Boxes, Stanchions and extraction to 2D.
Approval & Checking of all 2D design deliverables like Hook-up drawings, Loop Drawings, SPI ILD wiring & ESL creations, Block drawings, JB drawings, Cable Schedule, Drum Schedule, Cable routing, Instrument Location drawings, F&G Layouts, control room drawings.
Approval & Checking of MTO.
Review of vendor drawings including control system wiring and panel drawings all other interfaces for design deliverables.
Approval and checking of mechanical packages C&I design documents.
Inter discipline & Vendor co-ordination.
Shall be good in adequacy checks and Co-ordination with lead office
Qualifications
Hands on experience in Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) on various modules Hookup, Wiring.
Micro station V8i
AutoCAD
SP3D
Full Time Diploma in Instrument Technology / Engineering with 15~20 years of experience in design and preparation of Instrumentation deliverables for Chemical/ Oil and Gas Industrial Projects
