JOB DESCRIPTION

The Tech Sales group support the commercialfunction normallybefore a sale is closed. The main activities include prospecting, helping to qualify leads, performing product demonstrations, and helping to draft proposals.

Youwilljoin the team andbeengagedin GE’scutting edgeGridOS portfoliowith afocus on thePower System Applicationproduct suite,building out compelling uses cases across product lines, includingWide Area Measurement Systems (WAMS)EffectiveIntertia,GridOS Data Fabric & Connect, and our new Modular Transmission Applications.Deployingand configuring the products toshowcasethe solutions to our customers and prospects in the Europe, MiddleEast,and Africa region.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on projects, working alongside otherTech-Salesengineers to configure, develop and manage the deployment of intricate enterprise software solutions suite.

• Youwill be encouraged to useyourskills of programming, innovation and engineering and are encouraged to implementnew ideas, develop tools andapplicationsor improvise our methods in the projects.

• Contribute to various project activities, including data manipulation, server deployment, solution design, documentation, testing, troubleshooting and issue resolution.

• The role requiresyoutoget in contact withcolleagues, customers and various stakeholders in their day-to-day job which would require good interpersonal, effective communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Following Degree pathsconsidered:Electrical Systems,Electrical Engineering,Computer Science, Power Systems,orsimilar

• Familiarity with Unix/Linux/Windows environments

• ExperiencewithPowerSystems Analysis Software (e.g.DigsilentPowerfactory)

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Micro Services, REST Services,Certificates& Cloud Services.

• Knowledge of Databases, SQL, Oracle.

• Proficiencywith MS Office Suite (Excel, Word,Powerpoint).
• Legal right to work in the UK is required.
