Wood is recruiting for an Onshore Project Manager (Pipelines) to join the team to oversee onshore projects within our Technical Consulting Division. This role will be based in our Staines office with some hybrid working available.Join a culture of innovation, pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients. The RoleAs an Onshore Project Manager (Pipelines), you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of onshore pipeline projects from initiation to completion. This role involves managing project teams, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and delivering projects within budget and on schedule. The Project Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure successful project execution. The role offers a high-profile position in a highly visible and motivated team, with the exciting opportunity to be part of a significant growth group with ambitious plans.Our Clients and ProjectsIt’s a future for all of us. Responsibilities

If all of this sounds good to you, review the typical responsibilities of the role and the requirements below, then follow the link to apply and start your journey with Wood.  Project Planning and Initiation:Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and mitigation strategies.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and expectations.Team Management:Assemble and lead project teams, including engineers, contractors, and support staff.Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and motivate team members to achieve project goals.Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.Budget and Resource Management:Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to support project requirements.Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle.Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all aspects of the project comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations.Work closely with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.Quality Assurance and Safety:Implement and enforce quality assurance and safety standards throughout the project.Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to ensure a safe working environment.Communication and Stakeholder Management:Establish and maintain effective communication channels with all project stakeholders.Provide regular project updates to clients, senior management, and other relevant parties.Address and resolve issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.Contract Management:Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts with contractors, suppliers, and other service providers.Ensure all parties involved understand and adhere to contractual obligations.Project Monitoring and Reporting:Implement project tracking systems to monitor progress and identify potential delays or issues.Prepare regular status reports and performance metrics for management and stakeholders. 

Qualifications
