You will work closely with Railway Projects which required have experience in Switches, Routers, Fiber, UTP Pulling, Physical and Logical architects, Cisco and Non-cisco Networks and systems integration and implement new solutions to address our evolving performance and efficiency requirements. You will engineer mission-focused IT programs that incorporate both existing infrastructure and new system technologies, and work with senior executives to find the best strategies to meet requirements. We rely on our engineering team to build the foundation for our success.
Role scope:
The Network and VoIP Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s network and VoIP infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, VoIP protocols, and industry best practices to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure communication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze the organization’s business requirements and develop a comprehensive network architecture to support current and future needs.
• Design and implement secure, redundant, and high-performance network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Evaluate and select appropriate network hardware, software, and protocols to meet the organization’s needs.
• Ensure the network architecture aligns with industry standards and best practices.
• Design and implement a robust VoIP and unified communications infrastructure, including IP telephony, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.
• Evaluate and select appropriate VoIP hardware, software, and protocols to meet the organization’s communication requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration between the VoIP system and other business applications.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the VoIP system.
• Manage the implementation of network and VoIP projects, including planning, resource allocation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and integration of network and VoIP solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry best practices in networking and VoIP.
• Identify opportunities for improving the organization’s network and VoIP capabilities and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with the IT team and business stakeholders to align the network and VoIP strategy with the organization’s overall technology roadmap.
You must have:
• Must have Railway MSN and BCN Design and implementation experience.
• Must have strong experience in MPLS design and implementation.
• Must have experience with Nokia and Aruba switches and routers.
• Have experience with advanced Routing Protocols.
• Have good background on GSM-R design, implementation, and Interfacing technique.
• Must Have good experience with Railway Wireless.
• Have experience with Datacentre management solutions.
• Have experience with NOC Solution (Network Operation Centre)
• Able to evaluate Project BOQ and BOM [Bill of Quantity and Bill of Material].
• Have experience with Basic background of CCTV and ACS functions.
• Create High Level and Low-Level design Documents.
• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various network architecture
• Designing and implementing business solutions using common network equipment
• Monitoring and diagnosing performance issues.
• Have an excellent experience in Passive and Fiber implementation.
• Have experience with Passive infrastructure (Cabling)
• Have experience with Cisco ACI.
• 25% Traveling time.
We Value:
• Degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Experience from 5 – 8 years.
• Certified CCIE SP or equivalent.
