About Quartz Design System

Quartzis an ecosystem that translates Schneider Electric digital standards into ready-to-use assets shared by designers and developers with transparency, efficiency and consistency.

Your role :

As aDesign System Front-End Developer, you will be integral to developing and maintaining our design system, focusing on creating a consistent and scalable UI framework for various projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the user interface of our platform, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality experience across multiple touchpoints with the highest level of rigor and practice.

Your missions :

Component Development and Documentation

• Develop and refine design system components to ensure they are scalable, reusable, and meet project requirements.
• Document component behavior and set coding standards to maintain consistency and quality.
• Maintain a unified user interface across platforms: Web, iOS, and Android platforms.

Collaboration and Implementation

• Work closely with designers and engineers to align the design system with aesthetic and functional needs.
• Implement advanced frontend features using frameworks such as React and TypeScript.
• Clearly communicate, document, and convey how components should be used to maximize their utility across teams.

Technical Excellence and Culture

• Engage with Scalable Engineering and modern principles of decoupled systems, high ownership, and automated CI/CD/testing/monitoring.
• Integrate accessibility principles into your development practices.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, user experience, and tooling.

Your profile :

• +2 years of experience in Front-End Development
• Proficiency in CSS, HTML, modern JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Vue.js, Angular, Svelte, and TypeScript. Knowledge of Stencil JS would be an asset.
• Background in building or maintaining design systems or component libraries.
• Strong attention to design detail and consistency.
• Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with high-traffic web applications and the full product lifecycle.
• Enthusiastic about implementing accessibility in your work.
• Dedicated to improving yourself, your team, and your processes.

• Experience with both B2B and B2C solutions.
• Skills in creating holistic and seamless user experiences.
• Expertise in creating detailed documentation and presenting it to stakeholders.
• Active participation in design communities and staying updated with industry trends.
