Regional Sales Manager
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for Sales experts who will be responsible for Central Asia & Caucasus Region and located in headquarter in Istanbul with high level account management, planning, communication and strategy building skills. You will use your experience and drive to build long-standing customer relationships, identifying effective solutions for customer needs. Your Responsibilities Responsible for sales of products/systems within Distributors, Wholesalers, Panel Builders, EPCs and Electrical Contractors in accordance with strategy, volume and profitability targets for assigned Divisions/Product Groups with completing all financial & trade compliance procedures, Establishes and maintains strong-long term relationships with existing and potential key customers in the responsible countries, driving business growth through ABB’s product and solution portfolio, Identify and develop sales opportunities according to the Sales & Marketing strategies and financial / non-financial KPIs, Contributes to critical sales negotiations and framework agreements, Supports sales and marketing efforts, including pricing policies that require the participation of channel partners. Ensures the execution of communication, promotion, and training activities across all channels/segments in collaboration with product marketing, technical promotion and related teams, Supports the development of strategic partnerships, fostering personal relationships with key partners, customers, and decision-makers, Drives demand generation activities by overseeing the scope, technical specifications, and solution architecture for investments in close coordination with the technical promotion and consultancy teams, Prepares sales & strategic account plans using company tools in a coordination with related teams, Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls, Ensures that all activities are documented in Salesforce.com and regularly tracks financial and non-financial KPIs through the platform.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or an equivalent field,
• Min 5 years of sales, marketing, account management experience in the electrical market,
• Preferably experienced in Central Asia & Caucasus countries with Distributors, Wholesalers, Panel Builders, EPCs and Electrical Contractors especially in the field of LV (Low Voltage) switchgears, products, and systems/solutions activities,
• Proficiency in English & Turkish, with Russian being a strong advantage for communicating with customers in the region (Russian language is a plus),
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment,
• Collaborative and solution-oriented, analytical, attention to detail, strong interpersonal & communication skills, teamwork oriented, decision-making skills,
• Proven ability to establish connections with key customers and develop long-term strategic partnerships,
• Valid driver’s license & no obstacles to travel internationally.
