Be part of the Auxiliary Power Unit Project Engineering team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Power Systems for the G570 APU System. This position will be a leader within the Systems Engineering team, working directly with Project Leadership, the Customer and a cross-functional team.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a Hybrid work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage systems engineering efforts for the G570 APU Program including requirements management, authoring systems documents, and system integration
• Drive requirements based engineering MOS and efforts for requirements verification and validation
• Communicate with team leadership and the customer regarding program status
• Manage efforts within allocated budget and schedule
• Complete monthly budget and schedule updates (CAM activities)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project goals
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or Systems engineering

• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Gas Turbine Engines (APU or Propulsion).
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
• Program/control account management skills.
